Hi, I’m Becky.

I’m a watercolor artist based in Montrose, Colorado. For years, my brushes sat tucked away while I focused on raising a family and building a career. But art has a way of finding you again when the time is right.

So here we are, diving back in with watercolor. I’m a mom to two adventurous teen boys and married to an equally adventurous loving husband. I’m blessed to spend my weekends enjoying the beautiful and secluded mountains of Western Colorado.

When I returned to painting, I found myself inspired (again) by the beauty that's always been right outside our door. You’ll find I gravitate to florals, but every now and then a mountain landscape makes its way onto the paper too. For me, flowers are little bursts of joy. They invite us to slow down, notice the beauty around us, and appreciate moments that are easily overlooked (or sometimes trampled on by fighting brothers).

Like life—and motherhood—I’m embracing the imperfection, letting the water move, the colors mingle, and the painting come to life in ways I can't always predict. Thank you for being part of this next chapter. I hope my work brings a little more color and joy to your everyday life.
